Visual supports can be provided, which will assist the individual in sourcing items that meet the criteria of our shop while simultaneously providing an opportunity to exhibit informed decision-making skills and budgeting.

We have reserved this for a modeling/thrifting day (in Raleigh/Durham/Cary areas.) Depending on who is interested, we will plan a location and time. If you are interested, please let us know what times work best for you (after 1 pm.)

We have a variety of sizes and styles, as well as women, men, and gender-nonconforming options so each model can choose items to be photographed in that make them happy to wear! The modeling of clothing is an activity where choice-making and self-advocacy skills are practiced. We value inclusivity, and we want YOU to be one of the many faces of this company! Your comfort and safety are priorities - models will have a private place to change clothes or have the option to put inventory over the clothes worn to the shoot. All clothes are pre-washed and clean! All clothing items worn for pictures to be returned to Disco Differences inventory for sale.

1:1 Modeling Opportunity to be Featured on Disco Differences Website and at Pop-up Events -

Modeling the Disco Differences inventory for our website is a great volunteer opportunity! This will be a one-on-one vocational volunteer opportunity. Megan Snow MS, CCC-SLP will be providing support across the entire experience, which will last approximately an hour and a half, with the first 30 min. being on the bench outside of the store reviewing/discussing what to expect, strategies, and ideas for sourcing, communicating with others, etc. If a parent or caregiver wishes to attend as well, that is perfectly fine! Please just let us know in advance.
